At Beachmere there are some of the most interesting mangrove trees in Brisbane. I went that morning to photograph the pair in the first photo and noticed that one had fallen.

I took three photos that day and thought they might tell a story.

The first of my favourite pair of trees, one now fallen.

The next was from a slightly different angle, with another group of trees in the background looking like bystanders.

The last, taken from the other side of the group of "bystanders"; the original tree and his fallen mate can now be seen through the gap in the middle. All together now.
